  • Who can nominate for the MTA WA Automotive Awards?
    Any current financial member of MTA WA can nominate for the awards. Specific eligibility criteria apply to each award category.
  • Can I update my nomination after submission?
    Yes, you can update your submission up until the closing date. Please contact the Awards Team for assistance if needed.
  • How do I submit my nomination?
    Nominations must be submitted through the online portal, Awards Force. You will need to complete the nomination form and upload any supporting documents.
  • Can a business submit nominations for multiple locations?
    Yes, but each business site must be nominated separately and must be a current financial member of the MTA WA.
  • Can individuals nominate themselves for an award?
    Yes, self-nominations are allowed for most individual awards, such as Automotive Woman of the Year.
  • Can a business enter multiple award categories?
    Yes, businesses can enter more than one category as long as they meet the specific eligibility criteria for each. For example, a business can enter either the Small, Medium, or Large Automotive Business of the Year category, in addition to the People’s Choice Award category.
  • Is there a fee to enter the awards?
    No, entry is free for all current financial members of MTA WA
  • What if I encounter technical issues while submitting?
    Contact the Awards Team or Membership Team immediately if you experience any issues. Technical support is available during business hours.
  • Can I save my progress and complete my submission later?
    Yes, the Awards Force portal allows you to save drafts and return to complete your submission before the deadline.
  • What documents should I include with my submission?
    Include evidence supporting your nomination, such as customer testimonials, performance metrics, photos, logos, and videos. Check the specific criteria for each category.
  • How do I vote?
    Visit the voting link: https://mtawa.awardsplatform.com/auth/login/jodJGAGw Register with your name and email address. Browse the list of nominated businesses. Select your favourite and click ‘Vote’.
  • How do I nominate my business?
    Submit your logo via the Awards Force portal. Once submitted, your business will appear on the public voting page after registration.
  • Will I receive marketing emails if I register to vote?
    No. Your details are used only for verification purposes. You won’t be subscribed to marketing emails unless you opt in.
  • Do I need to register to vote?
    Yes, you must register with a valid email to ensure fairness and prevent duplicate votes.
  • Can I vote more than once?
    Yes – you can vote once per day. Voting resets at midnight AWST each day during the voting period.
  • When does voting close?
    Public voting closes at 11:59 PM AWST on Sunday, 10 August 2025.
  • When do entries and voting close?
    Entry deadline: Businesses must enter by Friday, 9 August 2025. Voting deadline: Public voting closes at 11:59 PM AWST on Sunday, 10 August 2025.

  • Who can vote?
    Anyone! Customers, friends, and community members are encouraged to vote. One vote per person.
  • How is the winner decided?
    The winner is the eligible business with the highest number of verified public votes by the deadline.
  • Can I promote my nomination to get more votes?
    Absolutely! Once you've entered, you’ll receive a link to promote your nomination via email, social media, your website, or in-store.
  • Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
    Yes, ticket transfers are permitted up to 14 days before the event (by 30 August 2025). Please contact us to update attendee details.
  • What is the dress code for the event?
    The dress code is Cocktail Attire (Black-tie Optional).
  • Is parking available?
    Limited parking is available at Optus Stadium (near Gate D) on a first come, first serve basis.
  • How do I purchase tickets?
    Tickets are available through the Humanitix platform. Follow the link on our website to book your seats.
  • Are tickets refundable?
    Tickets are refundable up to 30 days before the event (by 13 August 2025). After that date, no refunds will be issued.
  • Can I buy a whole table?
    Yes, you can purchase a Table of 10 at a discounted rate. Finalists also have the option to complete their table at a reduced price.
  • Do finalists receive free tickets?
    Yes, each finalist receives one complimentary ticket. Finalists can also purchase a Table of 10 at a discounted rate.
  • When and where is the MTA WA Industry Celebration?
    The event will take place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at the Riverview Room, Optus Stadium.
  • Who is on the judging panel?
    The judging panel is composed of industry experts, past winners, sponsors, and independent business leaders. All judges declare any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Will I receive feedback if I am not selected as a finalist?
    Due to the volume of entries, individual feedback will not be provided. General feedback will be shared after the event.
  • What should I do if I am announced as a finalist?
    Celebrate! You will receive further instructions regarding interviews or site visits (if applicable) and how to claim your complimentary ticket for the MTA WA Industry Celebration.
  • Will the winners be featured publicly?
    Yes, winners will be celebrated on the MTA WA website, social media channels, and in press releases. By participating, you agree to have your achievements promoted as part of the Awards’ post-event coverage.
  • What do the winners receive?
    Winners will receive a trophy, certificate, marketing pack, and recognition in the MTA WA’s marketing and communications. Additionally, winners gain industry-wide recognition, enhancing their professional profile and credibility.
  • When will the finalists be announced?
    Finalists will be announced from Monday, 14 July 2025, on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. All shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly via phone and/or email following the announcement. The list of finalists will also be published on the MTA WA Automotive Awards Website.
  • How are the winners selected?
    Winners are chosen based on the strength of their written submission, supporting evidence, and performance during site visits or interviews (if applicable).
  • Can I sponsor a specific award category?
    Yes, we offer the opportunity to sponsor specific award categories, giving your brand targeted exposure to nominees, finalists, and attendees.
