


MTA WA Automotive Awards Terms
& Conditions


































1. General Conditions:
1.1 By submitting a nomination for the MTA WA Automotive Awards, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 The Awards are open to current financial members of the MTA WA and apprentices affiliated with the MTA WA's Apprentice Employment Services (AES) scheme and/or MTA WA Training.
1.3 Nominations must be submitted via the official Awards Force online portal by the specified deadline.
1.4 MTA WA reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
2. Eligibility:
2.1 Nominations are open to:

Financial Members of the MTA WA: For business awards (Small, Medium, Large Automotive Business of the Year) and the People’s Choice Award.

Women employed by Financial Members: For the Automotive Woman of the Year category.

Apprentices nominated by Hosts or Employers: For the Apprentice of the Month (regardless of MTA WA membership) if they are employed through the AES scheme or training with MTA WA Training.
2.2 The Automotive Business of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award are not open for public nomination.
2.3 Only one nomination per business award category (Small, Medium, or Large) is allowed per financial member.
3. Submission Guidelines:
3.1 Nominations must be completed in full and submitted by the closing date: 23 June 2025 at 23:59.
3.2 All entries must include:

Accurate and truthful information.

Relevant supporting documents, including testimonials, data, and evidence of achievements.
3.3 Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted.
3.4 Nominations can be updated prior to the deadline through the Awards Force portal.
4. Judging Process:
4.1 All nominations will be reviewed by an independent judging panel composed of industry experts, past winners, sponsors, and independent business leaders.
4.2 Judges will evaluate submissions based on:

Relevance to the category criteria

Quality and depth of supporting evidence

Overall presentation and clarity of the nomination
4.3 All decisions made by the judging panel are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Privacy and Confidentiality:
5.1 All personal and business information collected will be handled in accordance with the MTA WA’s Privacy Policy.
5.2 By submitting a nomination, you consent to the MTA WA using your information for the purpose of judging and for public announcements if shortlisted or selected as a winner.
5.3 Sensitive business data will be treated as confidential and only accessed by authorised personnel and judges.
6. Publicity and Promotion:
6.1 By entering the Awards, you agree that the MTA WA may use your business name, logo, photographs, and nomination content for promotional purposes.
6.2 Finalists and winners may be featured on the MTA WA website, social media channels, press releases, and other marketing materials.
6.3 If you do not wish to have certain details published, please notify the Awards Team in writing.
7. Withdrawal and Disqualification:
7.1 Nominees may withdraw their submission at any time before the closing date by notifying the Awards Team.
7.2 The MTA WA reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

Contains false or misleading information.

Breaches confidentiality or intellectual property rights.

Violates these Terms and Conditions.
7.3 If a winner is later found to be ineligible or in violation of these terms, the MTA WA reserves the right to revoke the award.
8. Use of Awards and Recognition:
8.1 Winners may use the MTA WA Automotive Awards logo and promotional materials to publicise their achievement.
8.2 Any use of the award title or logo must adhere to the MTA WA’s branding guidelines.
8.3 The MTA WA reserves the right to revoke permission for logo use if it is deemed to be misrepresented or used inappropriately.
9. Liability and Indemnity:
9.1 The MTA WA will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of entering the Awards or attending the event, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
9.2 Entrants indemnify the MTA WA against any claims arising from the submission of their nomination, including infringement of intellectual property rights.
