Judging Process

The judging process for the MTA WA Automotive Awards is conducted by an independent panel of four judges, comprising past winners, industry leaders, and business professionals. This process ensures fairness and impartiality in selecting the award recipients.

Phase 1: Shortlisting

During the shortlisting stage, the judges will review all written nominations to determine the finalists for each award category. The evaluation will focus on the quality, relevance, and impact of the nominee’s achievements as outlined in the submission.

Phase 2: Finalist Evaluation

Finalists will be required to participate in a 45-minute virtual interview or site visit, conducted by representatives from the judging panel. This stage allows judges to gain deeper insights into the nominee’s achievements, professional conduct, and impact within the automotive industry.

Phase 3: Decision Making

After the interviews and site visits, the judging panel will carefully assess all gathered information. The panel will then make a final decision based on the combined insights from the written nominations and interview/site visit evaluations.

All decisions made by the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal. No correspondence or discussion regarding the outcome will be entered into after the finalists and winners have been announced
